UnAborted

A precious friend recently asked me if I might consider writing about how God redeemed me from my abortions as an addition for a book that she was publishing.  I have never really written out the whole story before.  Even though I have done interviews, spoken and shared my testimony openly and freely, placing ALL God did to redeem me into mere words has seemed almost impossible. However, I could hear Jesus prompting me saying, “it’s important, Rhonda.” So, I am sharing my story in the greatest hope that Jesus will use it for His Glory. I must say upfront ...

Her Here

Forgive me, Father, for BLOCKING You out And then BLAMING You for all the ways I feel BLOCKED OUT Forgive me, Father, for forgetting that YOU CAME To be my GATE, opening me into the security of Your unknown And not my PRISON door, that I lock To keep myself safe within my insecure little BOXES Thank-You, Father, for knowing how to OPEN prison doors And how to BURST through brick walls Even as I blame You for taking away the so called SECURITY that they provide Thank-You for loving me too much to watch me dry up within those ...

Fake.

I am living in a fake world. I eat fake food. I go to a fake school, or to a fake job where I talk to fake people about fake issues, or fake hopes or maybe how fake leaders will offer fake promises. Anything to keep anyone from knowing, That I am fake. But then, You come. You are REAL. You show me REAL life and teach me to SEE the REAL in people. You show me the REAL Kingdom, fill me with REAL hope based and REAL promises. You offer me REAL food because You know my REAL hunger ...

The Invitation To Healing From Abortion

“Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD, the fruit of the womb a reward.  Like arrows in the hand of a warrior are the children of one’s youth.  Blessed is the man who fills his quiver with them! He shall not be put to shame when he speaks with his enemies in the gate.” Psalm 127:3-5 Have you ever gotten an invitation that you did not want to open because you knew who it was from, and to open it would disqualify you from being able to use all of your typical excuses to get out of the obligation ...

When Your Husband Becomes Your Bridesmaid

I love to watch old couples. I look for them every time I am out and can’t help feeling a tug at my heart when I see them reaching for one another’s hands or bent over to make sure they hold the door for the one they love. I catch a bit of timeless beauty, a beauty that transcends this world as I watch these living testimonies to love, a love that has risen and stayed, despite all this cold, hard world has thrown at them.  I attended the funeral of such a couple recently.  It was actually only the ...

Thank-you, sorry it’s taken so long to respond. I am so lost in mothering my two teen girls right now that I am just now finding time to write again. I appreciate your comment to much. I think a lot of people write these days for other people, but this blog is kinda my journal with Jesus as I walk with Him and I hope that it represents an outstretched hand that says, “wanna come with us?’ I am SO thankful for each person that does, including you. God bless you and thanks for taking the walk with us.

Good day! I know this is kinda off topic nevertheless I’d figured I’d ask.

Would you be interested in exchanging links or maybe guest writing
a blog article or vice-versa? My blog addresses a lot
of the same topics as yours and I feel we could greatly benefit from each
other. If you happen to be interested feel free to send me an e-mail.
I look forward to hearing from you! Awesome blog by the way!
