The REAL Exchange

4-5-19 Jesus, I am overwhelmed with the thought of how underwhelmed I have been by the CROSS You bore on my behalf.  It terrifies me how easy it is to make, even the pursuit of You, all about me. Like Paul I cry out, “...Who will deliver me from this body of death?” Romans 7:24.  I love it when You come for me, but never in my KNOWING, but always, like an ever faithful, best-friend show up the moment I acknowledge my NEED for You. And You remind me, “there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, ...

Mountains

“Now therefore give me this mountain, whereof the LORD spake in that day…” Joshua 14:12a (KJV) “I lift up my eyes to the mountains-where does my help come from?  My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth.” Psalm 121:1-2 “In the last days the mountain of the LORD’s temple will be established as the highest of the mountains, it will be exalted above the hills, and all the nations will stream to it.”  After an AMAZING prayer time this morning I was left with these words from our Father.  He has been speaking to me for ...

THE REAL ME

A friend recently shared my testimony in her blog (see HERE) and I have to admit, it was hard to look back over my story.  If you were to blend the woman at the well, with the woman caught in the act of adultery, and throw in the story of the prodigal son, you might catch of small glimpse of who I was before I met Jesus. I was a very lost, very broken woman, a woman that is hardly recognizable to myself and those who know me today. That is why I love to look back and remember who ...

This Present Life

I had the recent privilege of being a guest blogger for a ministry that is very close to my heart. I am including the link below. Our family has been through a slew of transitions lately, one of them is described in the blog below. What I thought would be a thoughtful, contemplative, restful Christmas, full of writing advents and making memories turned into anything but. I found myself giggling at the thought that I wanted to write about the night when Joseph and Mary showed up in Bethlehem with no one to take them in, while God had other ...

Advent 7 Christmas Light

“Joyful and Triumphant, O come ye O come ye to Bethlehem,”big words for such a little girl to sing! One of the few times in my childhood that I got to go to church, and this was a special moment as I was entrusted with the privilege of holding the sacred candle while we sang the Christmas carols about Jesus’ birth.  Grandma and grandpa kept a close eye on me, and I couldn’t help but give a quick glance over to see if my little brother had been graced with the same privilege. My face shot straight forward as he ...

Appreciating the dedication you put into your site and detailed information you
present. It’s nice to come across a blog every once in a while that isn’t the
same unwanted rehashed material. Excellent read!

I’ve bookmarked your site and I’m adding your RSS feeds to my Google account.

Thank-you, sorry it’s taken so long to respond. I am so lost in mothering my two teen girls right now that I am just now finding time to write again. I appreciate your comment to much. I think a lot of people write these days for other people, but this blog is kinda my journal with Jesus as I walk with Him and I hope that it represents an outstretched hand that says, “wanna come with us?’ I am SO thankful for each person that does, including you. God bless you and thanks for taking the walk with us.

Thank-you, I write just to share what God is showing me. I am so thankful you noticed and stopped by to take a look. It means so much. Sorry it took me so long to respond. I hardly find time to write and forget sometimes to check my comments, I guess I’m not too good at this blogging thing…LOL

Good day! I know this is kinda off topic nevertheless I’d figured I’d ask.

Would you be interested in exchanging links or maybe guest writing
a blog article or vice-versa? My blog addresses a lot
of the same topics as yours and I feel we could greatly benefit from each
other. If you happen to be interested feel free to send me an e-mail.
I look forward to hearing from you! Awesome blog by the way!
