I Corinthians 15:10

Revelation; Just Keep Shining

Just to let you know, we are switching to a new lesson this week over Revelation, as well as over how scripture applies to all that is happening in our world right now.
We will be going over Revelation Chapter 5 in the morning just in case you wish to read it beforehand.

I am amazed at how perfect God’s Word is.  Did you know that 26.4 percent of the Bible is prophecy?

I didn’t.

I always thought to myself, “I’m going to just hang out with Jesus and trust that it will all work out in the end.”  And although that is true, I have found myself easily shaken by the continually crashing in waves that keep coming at us and wondered to myself, “What is going on?”
I truly believe that just as in the beginning of the world, God was hovering over the deep and SPOKE all things into being, so His WORD is still alive and active, accomplishing His Word here in this world.
We are physical creatures living in a perishing physical world that is perishing because it is held in bondage to sin (which means that it is submitted to existence outside of the One who called it to exist). No one and nothing is ever intended to exist outside of it’s original purpose.
Yet, for those of us who belong to Jesus, who were born again back into our original purpose, we became spiritual beings, who abide in spiritual existence.  Just as the world began from invisible and shaped and formed into a perfect, visible, and tangible existence by God’s Voice, so are we.
Bible prophecy clearly tells us all God wants us to know about how the process has and will continue to be fulfilled.
When Jesus decided to write His story, He had us in mind. He looked at you (and me) and saw that we would perfectly fit into His plans and purposes for such a time as this. In His confidence, we can be assured that, despite how it may look as if it’s all falling apart, we are actually all falling right into place.
What an honor to shine His Light into such a dark time.
As the famous fish, Dorie, once said when she  would feel lost and insecure about her surroundings and her tendency to forget who she was, “Just keep swimming.”
So, we who are continually being tossed to and fro through to tumultuous waves of human history can confidently determine in our hearts to , “Just keep shining!”
“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.” Matthew 5:14-16.
I love you ladies,
Rhonda
P.S. I will post video of teaching here for those who can’t come but want to follow along.
