“What are you doing here, ________?,” asks God (place your own name there)
I’ve often caught myself lately looking up to the heavens and asking God, “what are You doing?”
Yet, a quick glance through 1 Kings 19 reminds me that God just may be using the time we are in now as a way of asking me the same question. “Rhonda, what are you REALLY doing with this brief time I’ve given you to make your life count in light of eternity?” “Rhonda, are you REALLY standing in Me, or only your safe, small interpretations of who you want me to be?”
Are we spending our lives responding to the the winds, shakes, and fires in this world or to Christ’s “still, small Voice?”
I’ve been convicted lately by these very questions. Here is what God is showing me.
What is He showing you during this time?
What a blessing that we still have time to join Him on the mountain and to hear His “still, small Voice leading us home.”
The scripture passages used here are found in 1 Kings 19:9-13 as well as Zachariah 4:6.
God bless you for joining me in my journey.
You have no idea how encouraged I am to find that I am not alone on this journey and that you are walking beside me as we walk with Christ.
God bless and keep you!
His and yours,
