Perfect Mess

"But by the grace of God I am What I am, and His Grace to me was not in vain"
I Corinthians 15:10

The Rest of Revelation, Week 1

Anyone who thinks the Bible is boring must not have read it.

Just in Chapter 5 of Revelation, we have;

  1. The Throne Room of God
  2. Multiple Angels appearing and flying around
  3. The scroll (hint it includes the future of the world we are living in right now), being passed off to the Lamb (Jesus) who has been slain for us
  4. Praise coming from Thousands of angels as they circle the throne of God, exclaiming His praise at what He has done for us

And that is all just in one chapter of one book called Revelation!

This is exciting stuff, especially when we consider that these events  (meaning the opening of those seals on THAT scroll) could happen at any moment now!

So what does this have to do with us?

Well, the Bible is our only source of Truth in this world.

If you don’t  believe me, just try looking up how many of God’s prophecies have already come to pass. He has a perfect track record. There are about 2,500 bible prophecies in the bible, 2,000 of which have already been fulfilled.

We are living in a time where, similar to the time when Christ came to earth, we are seeing more and more Bible come to life right before our eyes.

Because of this, more people than ever are longing to know more about books such as Revelation and Daniel, which include prophecies about the time we are in and about to enter.

Because of this, I have decided to study the book of Revelation as I never have before.

There a Rest that comes when we look to Jesus, and find Him faithful, even over those parts in our story that have not occurred yet.

I begin this study with a glimpse at Revelation Chapter 5, where we see the Lamb and the Scroll.

My heart burst with both fear and wonder as I picture this image of the Lamb holding the scroll .

The Lamb is pictured as being slain, this Lamb is Jesus, our Savior and LORD, the One who paid for our wrath, yet holding in His Hands the scroll holding the seals, which upon being opened, will begin pouring His wrath out upon an unbelieving world.

What an image!

The scriptures I use  in this teaching  are found in ; Revelation 5, Mark 15:37-39, 2 Corinthians 5:20-21 and 1 Peter 2:9.

I pray you enjoy this teaching, and as always, let me know should you have any questions, comments, or prayer requests.

I am so honored to walk beside you as we walk with our Savior.

God bless you and keep you.

His and Yours,

Here is The Rest of Revelation Week 1
